August 22, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 3000 Milam about noon on Wednesday (Aug. 21).

The identity of the male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Officer J. Horn reported:

Workers at a location next to a vacant lot at the above address saw the male lying under a tree and notified their supervisor. The supervisor then flagged down nearby HPD officers. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased. There were no visible signs of trauma and the body was in a state of decomposition.
