August 20, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 5600 Selinsky about 1 p.m. today (Aug. 20).

The male victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kung and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The victim, who was not wearing a helmet, was operating a blue Yamaha motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed in the 5600 block of Selinsky. He lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected. He was then transported to the hospital where he died.
