August 20, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 1200 Duff about 4 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 19).

The victim, Hipolito Ruiz-Gomez, 25, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:

Mr. Ruiz-Gomez was found deceased in the street by a nearby resident. He had been stabbed several times.

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
