April 22, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant at 13200 Gardnerville Street about 6 p.m. last Thursday (April 18).

The baby boy, 2 months, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sgt. T. Richardson and Officer J. Dominguez reported:

One of the baby's parents left him propped in a chair while attending to other children.  Upon returning, the parent found the baby lying on his back, with his head slightly tucked in the corner of the chair.  

The investigation is continuing.
