September 25, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 3800 Peppermill about 11:45 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 24).

The victim's identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:

Officers responded to a call of a male lying on the side of the road at the above location.  Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.  It appeared he had suffered a gunshot wound.
