September 12, 2012 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man found deceased at 7000 Antoine about 12:10 p.m. last Sunday (Sept. 9).

The man has been identified as Arael Rico Lara, 52, of Houston.  His cause of death is pending autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

At this time, investigators do not suspect foul play in his death.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Padilla and Senior Police Officer R. Bolton reported:

Witnesses riding on a bike trail saw a body in White Oak Bayou and called police.   HPD patrol found the victim lying in the bayou about 90 feet east of Antoine.  The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the victim.
