October 18, 2012 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 10601 Sabo about 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 5.

The suspect, Andre Demont Thompson (b/m, DOB: 1-22-88) is charged with murder in the 178th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Thomas Williams, Jr., 15, of Houston, who died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Chaney, I. Ulloa and C. Hassig reported:

Mr. Thomas and an unknown male suspect got into an argument. At some point, the suspect produced a pistol and shot Thomas several times. Thomas died at the scene.

Further investigation and witness statements identified Thompson as the suspect in this case and, on Wednesday (Oct. 17) Thompson was arrested without incident.
