May 24, 2012 - A woman critically injured in a traffic accident in the 5000 block of Langley about 9:30 a.m. on May 11 has died from her injuries.

The female victim, Angela Renee Strange, 44, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead on Wednesday (May 23). 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Senior Police Officer D. Kizzee reported: 

Ms. Strange was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck westbound on Langley when she lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway.  The pickup truck then struck a fence and a telephone pole.  Strange was taken to the hospital by HFD paramedics. 

The investigation is continuing.
