March 26, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12400 Cullen about 4 p.m. on Saturday (March 24).
The victim, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hufstedler and Senior Police Officer D. Arnold reported:
According to witnesses, the victim was in his vehicle, stopped at a red light, when two male suspects got out of a gold or tan colored car (possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am) and approached him. The first suspect then shot the victim several times. The second suspect, also armed, did not fire his weapon. The pair then got back into the gold vehicle and fled the scene.
The suspects are described only as black males in their early to middle 20s.
