Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 4323 Gregory
December 19, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 4323 Gregory about 6:55 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 18).
The victim, Jimmy Wesley Petties, 57, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers T. Miller and M. Miller reported:
Mr. Petties allowed a female friend to stay at his home temporarily, due to problems she was having with a male friend who had assaulted her. When Petties was found deceased on the driveway of his residence, neither the female nor the male were at the residence. Investigators are attempting to locate them to help provide some information.
There are no known witnesses nor suspect(s) at this time.
