Investigation into Fatal Traffic Accident at 12200 North Houston Rosslyn
December 17, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 12200 North Houston Rosslyn about 4:20 a.m. on Saturday (Dec. 15).
Three male victims, all in their early 20s, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Park and Officer T. Riley reported:
The driver of a green Mercury Mountaineer was traveling westbound in the 7100 block of Romona when he disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of North Houston Rosslyn and struck a gray Nissan Quest. The driver of the Mountaineer then lost control of the sport utility vehicle, causing it to roll over onto the sidewalk.
The Mountaineer's driver and two passengers died at the scene. A third passenger and the female driver of the Nissan were both transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
