August 23, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5701 Lost Forest about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 22).

The victim, Jerrell Dwayne Lewis, 28, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants A. Semmelrock and J. Burton reported:

Witnesses reported hearing two gunshots in the area of the above location. Mr. Lewis was found a few minutes later lying on a concrete wlakway between two apartment buildings. He had been shot several times. HFD paramedics the responded to the scene and pronounced Lewis deceased.

The unknown suspects are believed to have fled in either a red Honda two-door sedan and/or a black Ford Explorer.
