August 13, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 200 McCarty Road about 8:35 a.m. on Saturday (August 11).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 66, is pending verification by the Harris County Insitute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Park and Senior Police Officer D. Schlichter reported:

The victim was driving a white Nissan Rogue northbound on McCarty when his vehicle left the road and went into a ditch. struck a concrete culvert and then rolled over. HFD paramedics transported the driver to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing.
