April 17, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 8228 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 1 p.m. on Monday (April 16).

The identity and cause of death of the victim, 60, are pending autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Biggs and Officer M. Stahlin reported:

The man was found dead in his room by members of the motel cleaning crew after he had not been seen for several days.

The investigation is continuing.
