Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 5415 Scott
October 25, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 5415 Scott Street about 10:50 a.m. today.
The victim, John Sydney Herrin, 56, of the above address, had no visible signs of trauma.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:
Mr. Herrin's nurse arrived for a check-up on him and found him deceased in the living room of his apartment. At this time, there are no indications of foul play in this case.
The investigation is pending Herrin's cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
