November 29, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12600 Huntington Venture Drive about 10:50 p.m. on November 20.

The victim, Delfino Hernandez, 18, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead last Friday (Nov. 25).

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.A. Countryman and Officer R.B. Olive reported:

Mr. Hernandez was sitting in a vehicle with his friends when a gray, four-door sedan (possibly a Honda) containing four Hispanic males pulled alongside.  One of the males in the sedan exchanged words with Hernandez and his friends.  At that time, one of the suspects then fired a shotgun one time at the car Hernandez was in, striking him in the head.
