February 2, 2011 - Houston police have learned a man found deceased at 7551 Scott Street about 1 a.m. today was not a victim of foul play.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined the victim, Alvin Irving, Jr., 59, of Houston, died of natural causes. Mr. Irving was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Hanslik and W. Bush and Officers K. Meek and M. Coleman reported:

An HPD officer, while on routine patrol, saw a Yellow Cab vehicle parked at the above location with its door open. Upon further investigation, Mr. Irving, the driver of the cab, was found deceased inside the vehicle.
