August 22, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the death of a female found at 650 North Sam Houston Parkway East service road about 4:15 p.m. last Friday (Aug. 19).

The identity of the female and her cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.L. Meeler and Officer J.L. French reported:

A security guard was patrolling the office building parking lot at the above location when he discovered the victim's body. There were signs of trauma to the female, who did not have identification on her.
