Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 14800 South Post Oak

August 3, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 14800 South Post Oak about 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 2).

The male victim suffered apparent gunshot wounds. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers J. Johnston and F. Waters reported:

A witness was walking along the bayou in the 14800 block of South Post Oak when he discovered the victim's skeletal remains in a nearby wooded field.
