Fatal Traffic Accident at 13000 State Highway 225

October 18, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 13000 State Highway 225 about 5:05 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 16).

The identity of the male victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Chambers and Senior Police Officer D. Schlichter reported:

The victim was driving a black Ford Explorer westbound on Highway 225 when he lost control of the vehicle. The SUV went off the roadway and rolled several times, killing the driver. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The investigation is continuing.
