Investigation Into Fatal Traffic Accident at 4500 Bingle
October 15, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 4500 block of Bingle about 2:20 a.m. today (Oct. 15).
The female victim, 47, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant I. Izaguirre and Officer R. Bymaster reported:
The victim was driving a red Chevrolet Suburban northbound on Bingle when she failed to maintain a single lane and struck a light pole and then a tree. A friend who had been following the victim in a separate vehicle, but lost sight of her when the crash occured, reported she had been drinking alcohol prior to the crash.
