Investigation into Death of Female Found at 1600 Louisiana
October 11, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 1600 Louisiana about 5:10 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 10).
The female suffered neck trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R.J. Rohling and Officer N.K. Wackman reported:
Houston police officers, responding to a reported public lewdness call in the 600 block of Pease, arrived to find the victim’s body lying in a stairwell of a nearby building.
There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time.
