Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 16114 Bowridge

October 7, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 16114 Bowridge about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 6).

The victim, Emmanuel Truman, 24, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead on Winter Briar Drive.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Biggs and Officer J. Harvey reported:

Mr. Truman got in an argument in front of the residence on Bowridge. At some point during the argument, shots were fired and Truman was struck one time. His brothers drove him away from the location and stopped at their home at 15515 Winter Briar. HFD was called to the Winter Briar location where Truman was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing.
