Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5353 Deep Forest May 25, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5353 Deep Forest about 12:35 a.m. Today (May 25). The male victim, 34, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.E. Elliot and Officer M.F. Stahlin reported: Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots coming from their apartment complex parking lot. When they went to investigate, they found the victim seated in his car. An unknown black male was seen running from the scene and getting into a waiting vehicle which then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
