Fatal Assault at 8000 Beech Cove May 24, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal assault of a male at 8000 Beech Cove about noon on Saturday (May 22). The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Chandler and Officer T. Andrade reported: The victim was discovered lying in the street in the 12100 block of White Cap Lane. He was transported to an area hospital. The investigation revealed he had been attacked in the 8000 block of Beech Cove.
