Fatal Shooting at 3233 Mangum May 12, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3233 Mangum about 11:05 p.m. on Tuesday (May 11). The victim, 37, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Stahlin and K. Lopez reported: Patrol officers responded to a shooting at the Kingswood Apartments and were told by a witness that two unknown Hispanic male suspects got out of the victim’s car. One of the suspects shot the victim and both suspects then fled on foot into the interior of the complex. A second witness told officers three Hispanic male suspects fled the scene in a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo shortly after the shooting.
