Fatal Traffic Accident at 7100 North Freeway June 21, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 7100 block of the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 1:10 a.m. on Sunday (June 20). The male victim, 24, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J.K. Richard and Officer D. Ashford reported: A gray Honda Civic was travelling northbound on the North Freeway service road near Parker when the driver lost control and struck an electrical pole. The driver was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The passenger, the victim's twin brother, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where doctors said he is expected to survive his injuries. JKS/JFC 6-21-10
