Suspect Arrested in Female's Death at 12100 Overbrook Lane

July 16, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman found at 12100 Overbrook Lane about 2 a.m. on June 2.

Phillip Erric Boldon (w/m, DOB: 12-16-78) is charged with murder in the 176th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Sarah Weyrick, 19, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N.T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer B.W. Nabors reported:

Ms. Weyrick's body was found in the back seat of a vehicle that had been set on fire in the 12100 block of Overbrook.

An autopsy and investigation revealed she had been fatally stabbed at another location and placed in the vehicle.

Further investigation identified Boldon as the suspect in this case and he was arrested on Wednesday (July 14) without incident.
