Suspect Arrested in Sexual Assault at 7200 Tanager January 27, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the sexual assault and robbery of an elderly female in the 7200 block of Tanager on Nov. 23, 2009. The suspect, Henry Price Jr. (b/m, DOB: 4-24-62), is charged with aggravated sexual assault and aggravated robbery in the 185th State District Court. On Nov. 23, the 80-year-old female victim went out to her garage and was confronted by Price, who then forced her back inside the residence. Price bound, gagged and sexually assaulted the victim and then stole some of her personal items before fleeing the scene in the victim’s vehicle. An investigation was launched and DNA evidence recovered at the scene and from the victim was entered into the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS). On Jan 14, 2010, a match was found that identified Price as the suspect in this case. Price was arrested on Jan. 20 near the South Freeway (State Highway 288) and Reed Road without incident. The investigation is continuing and Price remains in custody in the Harris County Jail. At 2 p.m. TODAY (Wednesday, Jan. 27), an investigator from the Special Crimes Division will be available to answer questions regarding this case.
