Fatal Traffic Accident at 9300 Lawndale January 15, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 9300 block of Lawndale about 5:35 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 14). The identity of the male victim, 17, who was pronounced dead at the scene, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. L. Stewart and Officer M. Lowder reported: The victim was driving a white Nissan Sentra westbound in the 9300 block of Lawndale when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a concrete pillar.
