Male Found Fatally at 5815 Hirondel January 11, 2010 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the fatal shooting of a male at 5815 Hirondel about 3:30 a.m. today (Jan 11). The victim suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.M. Delacruz and Senior Police Officer X.E. Avila reported: A male suspect evaded police officers in a vehicle pursuit about 11:45 p.m. on Sunday (Jan 10). Several hours later, HPD officers responded to a report of a suspicious person hiding in a storage shed at the above address. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male dead inside the shed and determined he was the same person who had fled from police earlier. The investigation is continuing.
