Surveillance Video, Photos in Serial Robbery Cases February 17, 2010 - Investigators in the HPD Robbery Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for at least 12 robberies of auto parts stores in the north Houston and Harris County areas. The suspects are described only as two black males, between 5 feet 7 and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 160 to 220 pounds. One of the suspects wore a tan or beige jacket with a white, fur-covered hood. Surveillance photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
The incidents occurred at the following locations: • Auto Zone - 1834 Gessner on Dec. 30, 2009 In each incident, the suspects enter the store, armed with semiautomatic pistols and place the victims on the floor before demanding cash from the safe and cash register. The victims are made to lie on the floor as the suspects flee in possibly a silver Chevrolet Impala and a tan Chrysler Sebring.
