Suspects Sought in Fatal Shooting at 8650 North Houston Rosslyn
December 31, 2010 - Houston police are asking for the public's assistance in locating two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of another at 8650 North Houston Rosslyn about 6:40 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 30).
The suspect, Eric Cooper (b/m, DOB: 5-3-84), is charged with murder in the 180th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Justin Aaron Conrad, 27, of Houston. COnrad suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second male also suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. A second suspect involved in this incident also remains at large. He is described only as a black male in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds with a dark complexion.

HPD Homicide Division Sgt. R. Rodriguez and Officer J. Harvey reported:
Cooper and a second armed suspect entered the Urban Soundz record store and shot Mr. Conrad and another male inside the store. Both men then immediately fled the scene in a silver Dodge Charger with a blue pinstripe and Texas license plates SVV-406.
Narcotics were recovered at the scene and at this time it is believed the shooting was drug related.
