Investigation Into Woman's Death at 911 Redwood #69
August 30, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 911 Redwood #69 about 7 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 29).
The victim, age unknown, suffered sharp force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. M. De La Cruz and Senior Police Officer X. E. Avila reported:
Eastside Patrol officers responded to an assault just occurred call at the above location and found the victim with possible sharp force wounds. Further investigation determined the victim lived with a roommate who found the victim and notified police.
