Fatal Traffic Accident at 9600 South Rice Avenue
August 2, 2010 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 9600 South Rice Avenue about 4 a.m. on Sunday (August 1).
The male victim, age unknown was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Calley and Officer B. Banks reported:
The victim was driving a green Saturn northbound on Rice, failed to stay in his lane and struck a tree. The victim died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in this accident and the investigation is continuing.
