Suspect Arrested/Charged in Shooting at Tabc Officer at 3201 Sage September 14, 2009 - A suspect has been arrested and charged in the shooting of a peace officer at 3201 Sage about 3:30 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 11). The suspect, Santos Soto Diaz (H/m, DOB: 8-25-1986), is charged with aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery in the 339th State District Court. The search for additional suspects continues. Officer Michael Sehon, 40, of the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) was transported to a local hospital after he suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Officer Sehon was treated and released. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant P. Munoz and Officer D. Gunter reported: Officer Sehon was working an extra job providing security to a jewelry dealer. The TABC officer had stopped at a hotel at the above address so his client could use the restroom. While waiting in the parking lot, the officer was robbed at gunpoint by several males. Officer Sehon exchanged gunfire with the suspects and was struck in the leg. During the exchange of gunfire, one of the suspects, Diaz, was struck in both arms and in the upper back. He was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening wounds.
