Suspect Arrested, Charged in Man's Death at 3914 Hoffman

September 10, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a male at 3914 Hoffman about 12:45 a.m. on Feb. 20, 2009.

The suspect, Oscar Lee Franklin (b/m, DOB: 1-16-87), is charged with murder in the 208th State District Court.

The victim, Jean Jeanntet, 32, was found with a severe laceration to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers A.J. Palos and C.T. Hufstedler reported:

Patrol officers responded to a person down call at a parking lot at 3914 Hoffman and found the victim deceased.

Further investigation developed information that identified Oscar Franklin as the suspect in this case and, on Wednesday (Sept. 9), he was arrested without incident.
