Fatal Shooting at 4250 West 34th Street

September 3, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4250 West 34th Street about 4 a.m. today (Sept. 3).

The victim, Cedric Davis, 26, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N.T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer B.W. Nabors reported:

Mr. Davis was standing near an exit gate in the parking lot of the Casa Nube Apartments when witnesses reported seeing him arguing with an unknown person in a white pickup truck. The witnesses then heard several gunshots and then saw Davis walk away from the truck and fall to the ground. The pickup truck then sped away. HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced Davis deceased from his wounds.
