Fatal Shooting at 2000 Dennis October 29, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 2000 block of Dennis about 10 a.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 28). The male victim, 26, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. M. Cegielski and Senior Police Officer A. J. Palos reported: The victim and the suspect, who are acquaintances, had a fight on Tuesday (Oct. 27). The next day, the suspect was at a residence at 2000 Dennis when the victim arrived. The suspect then shot the victim several times and fled the scene in a green Ford Thunderbird. The Thunderbird was later recovered a short distance from the shooting scene. A person of interest, Adrian Wade Johnson, 31, is wanted for questioning at this time.
