Fatal Stabbing at 7400 Bissonnet

October 6 , 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 7400 Bissonnet about 12:30 a.m. on Monday (Oct. 5).

The victim, Carlos Menjivar, 31, of the above address, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. D. Chandler and Senior Police Officer L. K. Lovelace reported:

Mr. Menjivar was last seen sitting on his second floor patio at an apartment complex at 7400 Bissonnet. A neighbor then notified Menjivar’s roommates that Menjivar appeared to be having some kind of a problem on the stairwell of the building. The roommates went to the stairwell and found Menjivar lying on the ground with several stab wounds.
