Fatal Shooting at 8400 Nairn

March 30, 2009- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 8400 Nairn about 6:05 a.m. on Sunday (March 29).

The victim, 28, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.   

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. McGalin and Senior Police Officer D. Arnold reported:

Investigators responded to a call of a deceased man in the 8400 block of Nairn and found the victim in a grassy area near a leasing office.  Residents reported hearing gunshots about 2 a.m.

There are no known witnesses or suspects.
