Investigation into Male's Death at 6767 Bennington

March 19, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the death of a male at 6767 Bennington about 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday (March 17).

The identity of the male victim, who suffered a gunshot wound, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Officer S. Straughter reported:

Patrol officers responded to a call at 6767 Bennington and found the victim deceased.  There are no witnesses and investigators are reviewing other reports of gunshots in the area to determine if those incidents are connected to the death of the victim.

Investigators are asking anyone who has information regarding the case to call the Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
