Investigation into Woman's Death at 5909 Glenmont

March 16, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the death of a female at 5909 Glenmont about 8:45 p.m. on Sunday (March 15). 

The victim suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. J. Anderson reported: 

The victim was seen riding in a green Isuzu Rodeo with an unknown male suspect, who then pulled over into the parking lot of an apartment complex.  He then pulled the victim out of the passenger side of the vehicle and assaulted her.  The suspect then got back into the vehicle and ran over the victim several times.  The suspect stopped the vehicle and then fled the scene when he was approached by witnesses. 

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male and there is no known motive for this incident at this time.
