Fatal Shooting at 7136 Clarewood

July 13, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7136 Clarewood about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday (July 12). 

The victim, 17, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.    

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Anthony and Senior Police Officer R. Chappell reported: 

The victim and several witnesses arrived at a nightclub parking lot at 7136 Clarewood as the club was closing.  At some point, there was an argument with another group of males and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim several times.  The suspects then fled the scene in a gold four-door vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Impala. 

The suspects are described only as Hispanic males.
