Wanted Suspect Charged in Shooting at 1415 West Gulf Bank Road
January 29, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 1415 West Gulf Bank about 2 a.m. on Monday (Jan. 26).
The suspect, Adrian Doin Johnson alias of “Ace,” (b/m, DOB: 10-20-80), is charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury in the 248th State District Court.
The victim, Cedric Ray Anderson Sr., 26, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. E. Roberts and Officers R. Figueroa and D. Gunter reported:
Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 1415 West Gulf Bank Road and found Mr. Anderson lying in front of an apartment. Further investigation determined Anderson got into an argument with Johnson, who then shot Anderson. Johnson remains at large.
