Fatal Shooting at 2304 Lorraine

January 29, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2304 Lorraine Street about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 28).

The victim, Miguel Morales, 22, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at LBJ Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer X. Avila and Officer T. Andrade reported:

Officers responding to a shooting call were told the victim had been transported in a private vehicle to an area hospital.  Investigators learned the victim and a Hispanic male suspect got into an argument that led up to the shooting.  The suspect then fled prior to officers arriving.
