Investigators Seek Public's Help in Identifying Robbery Suspect
January 29, 2008 - Houston Police Robbery Division investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for the robbery at a gas station in southwest Houston that occurred on January 5. The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in his mid 30s, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs between 160 to 180 pounds.
On Jan. 5, the suspect entered the Shell Gas Station at 12261 Bellaire and pointed a gun at the store clerk. The clerk did not believe the suspect was serious and grabbed for the suspect’s wrist. The suspect then fired once into the back wall of the business and demanded the clerk give him all the money from the cash register. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction after getting the money from the clerk.

At 11 a.m. TODAY (Thursday, Jan. 29), Officer K. Miller from the Westside Robbery Division will be available to provide details on this incident at the Westside Patrol Station at 3203 South Dairy Ashford.
