Fatal Shooting at 1350 Greens Parkway

January 23, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a robbery suspect at 1350 Greens Parkway #333 about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 22).

The identity of the suspect is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R.D. Chandler and Senior Police Officer L.K. Lovelace reported:

Two suspects entered an apartment armed with guns and robbed a male tenant inside at gunpoint. When a second tenant arrived to the apartment, one suspect fled while the other remained inside. The two tenants and one suspect then got into a struggle. At that time, the suspect was shot twice in the chest. Paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced him dead.

At this time, it does not appear the suspects and victims knew each other.
