Fatal Shooting at 2100 Bluebonnet Place Circle

February 23, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the armed robbery of another at 2100 Bluebonnet Place Circle about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 21).

The victim, Justin Perron Thomlinson, 19, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso and died while being transported in a private vehicle to an area hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. J. Anderson reported:

Mr. Thomlinson and another male were in the parking lot of the apartment complex at 2100 Bluebonnet Place Circle when they were approached by two unknown black male suspects.  Both suspects were armed with handguns and demanded money.  Mr. Thomlinson refused to give the suspects any money and then became engaged in a scuffle with one of the suspects.  Mr. Thomlinson was then shot by this suspect multiple times.  The surviving victim was not injured.
