Fatal Shooting at 812 Northwood

February 20, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 812 Northwood about 4:05 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 19). 

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. D. Howard and Officer J. R. Johnston reported: 

HFD paramedics responded to a person down call in the 1100 block of Jewett and found the victim deceased, lying in the driveway of a residence at 812 Northwood.  Information obtained at the scene determined the victim had been dumped at the location. 

There are no known witnesses or suspects in this case at this time.
